Supporting 4-H Youth at County Fairs
Jul 22, 2026
County fair season is one of the highlights of summer, and Central Farm Service is proud to continue supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.
On behalf of CFS, Stephanie Peterson, VP of Government Relations, Communications and Marketing, helped distribute CFS T-shirts to 4-H exhibitors at the Dodge County, Waseca County, and BLue Earth County Fairs as youth checked in and prepared for judging. We were also excited to receive photos from the Watonwan County Fair, where many exhibitors proudly wore their CFS T-shirts while showcasing the projects they have worked hard on throughout the year.
Seeing so many young people excited to share the results of their hard work—and spotting exhibitors still wearing CFS shirts from previous years—is a great reminder of the strong partnerships we have with our local communities and the positive impact these programs have on developing future leaders in agriculture.
A special thank you to the University of Minnesota Extension 4-H staff, volunteers, and fair organizers for the countless hours you invest to make these events successful. Your dedication provides invaluable learning experiences that help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their passion for agriculture.
Thank you as well to everyone who shared photos from the fairs, allowing us to celebrate these young exhibitors across our service area.
As fair season continues, we wish all of this year's 4-H exhibitors the very best. Thank you for representing the future of agriculture—we're proud to support you and the communities we serve.
