Cream of the Crop Award Winner - Mike Hohrman, Kenyon Agronomy

Mar 26, 2019

Mike has set a stellar example of being a team player at CFS.  Mike leveraged his skill and certifications this winter many times to provide some much-needed aid to the CFS Energy department and to our patrons.  His contributions during the harsh winter months always came in a timely manner and when our patrons and fellow CFS team-mates needed him the most!

Mike has continuously proven his dedication to his craft by tackling whatever tasks are asked of him and always doing a stellar job with those tasks.  Mike truly exemplifies a “Cream of the Crop” individual!

Kudos to Mike for leading by example and being a solid performer for our team – our success is determined by efforts like yours!

Highlights as of 5/16:
Corn:
Planting and weather conditions are the name of the game currently. With planting progress looking very favorable and the weather forecast showing above normal temps and below normal precipitation for much of the corn belt all signs point to very good planting conditions. With that, we gave up yesterday’s gains on old crop and put in some new lows on December corn.

May is Beef Month!

I am proud to be a part of the cattle industry. Heart, dedication, and hard work are the words that come to mind when I think of the cattle industry. I am proud of our cattle producers as they put a lot of time and effort into raising, caring for, and providing a healthy, nutritious protein source to sustain our society.
