CFS Feed Division receives Purina Chow honor Council Presidency Award

Sep 16, 2019

On September 12, 2019, the Central Farm Service feed division was awarded the CHC President's Cup, by Sr. Land O' Lakes/Purina leaders at the Purina Chow Honor Council banquet. This Presidency Award is a long-standing tradition and a way of celebrating and acknowledging those dealers who accumulated the most CHC growth points over 18 months. Four other dealerships were honored as CHC Vice Presidents at this event.

The rules are simple, but the task is not. Each CHC Officer must demonstrate substantial progress and improvement over the previous year. CFS's key accomplishments during the contest include our continued growth and performance in developing a Swine Nursery Program to compete successfully in our marketplace.

We are so proud of the CFS Feed Team for setting their sights high and making every effort to achieve this accomplishment. They are leading by example, ensuring our team’s continued reputation for excellence.

Planting and weather conditions are the name of the game currently. With planting progress looking very favorable and the weather forecast showing above normal temps and below normal precipitation for much of the corn belt all signs point to very good planting conditions. With that, we gave up yesterday’s gains on old crop and put in some new lows on December corn.
