CFS Presents at Safety Camp to Fairmont Area Fourth Grade Students

Shannon Bode, CFS EHS Manager speaks to area 4th-grade students about chemical safety today, May 10, 2019, at the Martin County Safety Day Camp held at Heritage Acres in Fairmont. When I spoke with Shannon about the event she stated: " this is one of my favorite days". We have been a part of this event for many years and feel that it is a great way to give back to the community. The Safety Day Camp provides hands-on safety sessions and demonstrations on the following topics:

Electrical Safety, Presented by REA
Emergency Preparedness, Presented by Abigail Nesbit
Martin County Emergency Management Director

Animal Safety, Presented by Chain of Lakes

911, ATV and Boat and Water Safety, Presented Martin County Sheriff’s office

Lawn Mower Safety, Presented by FFA students

PTO and Pinch Point Safety, Presented by Farm Bureau

Flowing Grain Safet, Presented by CHS

Fire Safety, Presented by Fairmont Fire Department

Firearm Safety, Presented by Martin County 4-H Shooting Sports Team

Chemical Safety, Presented by CFS

Bike Safety, Presented by Sherburn Police
